Twin Cities’ Top Chefs Face Off in Chili Showdown

Saint Paul, Minn. – 09.30.2024 – The Chef Jack Chili Bowl, taking place on October 13th from 3 pm to 6 pm at Saint Paul College, is a unique event bringing together 12 of the Twin Cities’ top chefs to compete for the title of “Best F’N Chili.” This gathering of culinary talent features chefs from renowned restaurants like Oro by Nixta, Revival, Tilia, and Butcher & the Boar. 

This event honors the legacy of Chef Jack Riebel, a vanguard of the Twin Cities culinary community. Riebel, a James Beard Award nominee, was known for his passion, mentorship, and dedication to the culinary arts. He was a driving force behind the reopening of The Lexington in St. Paul. He held positions at notable restaurants, including Butcher & the Boar, the Dakota Jazz Club, and La Belle Vie.  

The Chili Bowl continues Riebel’s commitment to culinary education by supporting his alma mater – the Saint Paul College Culinary Arts program – providing scholarships for aspiring chefs.  Attendees can expect to sample various chili styles, from traditional to innovative, showcasing the chefs’ creativity and culinary expertise.
